Igor Jurisica

Since July 2000 Igor Jurisica is a Scientist at the Ontario Cancer Institute/Princess Margaret Hospital, Division of Cancer Informatics. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computing and Information Science, Queen's University and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto. He also holds a Visiting Scientist position at the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory, Centre for Advanced Studies.
Igor Jurisica received a PhD degree in 1998 from the University of Toronto, and MSc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Slovak Technical University and in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 1991 and 1993 respectively.
Main research interests include computational biology, knowledge management (performance-based case-based reasoning, machine learning, knowledge discovery).
