Michael A. Jenkins
Mike Jenkins is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of
Computing and Information Science at
Queen's University
Kingston, Canada.
He is also the founder of
Nial Systems
Limited , a spinoff company that markets the results of his
research work.
Research Interests
Professor Jenkins does research on the design, implementation and use
of array based programming languages. He is the principle designer
of Nial and its portable C implementation
Q'Nial . Nial is in active use in
Janice Glasgow 's
Molecular
Scene Analysis project at Queen's and at several other sites.
His research is currently investigating the use of parallelism in
array-based computation.
