A topic for the winter term of the 2020-2021 academic year is Data Analytics.

Course Description

This new course introduces students to the creation and evaluation of software enterprises. Working on interdisciplinary teams, students develop a business plan and software prototype. Expectations for students are commensurate with their prior experience, including current field of study. There are multiple roles to be filled on each team, including roles that do not require programming experience.

The instructor will be Doug Wightman, a Queen's, Stanford, and Google X Alumni. He previously co-founded Groq Inc., which raised >$100M in funding from Chamath Palihapitiya, among others.
