
- All courses are CISC courses unless indicated otherwise. Courses designated
CS-XXX are CISC-XXX in the Arts and Science calendar and SOFT-XXX
in the Applied Science calendar. MATH indicates any 100-level course in
Mathematics. STAT indicates any course in Statistics. HONS indicates
Admission to Honours in SODE.

- 3rd year students in SODE should take CS-423* (Software Requirements) in
2010–11; it may not be offered in 2011–12.
- A high-school programming course (or equivalent experience) may be used in
lieu of CISC-101* or CISC-110* as a prerequisite to CISC-121*. PHIL-158*
can be replaced by WRIT-175* (or any course with a significant writing
component). APSC-221 may be replaced by COMM-200 or COMM-244. See
