BEWIC Sports Days
The BEWIC Sports Days tournament will be here sooner than you think! This
fun-filled weekend is happening January 21-22, but registration is
happening NOW. The School of Computing is entering a team into this co-ed
event, which will go Friday afternoon/night and Saturday until 5 p.m.
We'll be playing four sports: volleyball, broomball, rugby-basketball,
and innertube waterpolo. Experience is not required, as these sports are
new to most people. Sign up and enjoy a great weekend! Just email the
following information to me (3jaw1@qlink.queensu.ca):
- Name, Student Number, Qlink address
- Varsity Status (Are you on a varsity team? If yes, which one?)
>Note: This just needs to be put on the form because varsity players
can't participate in their sport during the competition, it is not to
indicate to us your skill level.
- T-Shirt Size (YOU GET A BEWIC SD T-SHIRT!)
- Suggestion for a team name (optional)
The registration fee is $10 per person, which can be dropped off at the
COMPSA office (544 Goodwin Hall) on Thursday, Oct. 21 or 28, from
9:30-11:30 or the School of Computing Main Office (5th floor Goodwin). Make
sure to include your name with your payment.
The deadline to sign up is THIS SUNDAY October 31st at noon!
