The School of Computing is pleased to announce its partnership with the Smith School of Business to offer the Master of Digital Product Management (MDPM).
The MDPM will focus on building expertise in digital product management to develop deep understanding of business needs for diverse products in the digital world. This unique program will combine complex business strategies with digital product management for the very first time Canada.
This ground-breaking program is meant to develop cross-functional leaders who can effectively manage the life cycle of digitalization operations by learning from mentors in sectors such as academia, business, government, and the technology sector. Faculty from the School of Computing and the Smith School of Business will deliver all the courses.
The curriculum is structured into three parts. The Knowledge Stream focuses on ten industry-driven management classes centered on product management principles. The Application Stream is comprised of seven application courses concentrating on cross-disciplinary knowledge for students to develop the work-ready skills and meet the demand in the competitive market. The Capstone Project will take place over the final four months of the program, and concludes with on hands-on experience in the field of product management by designing, building, and optimising a digital product in real-time dedicated for interested clientele.
