Biography
Filipe R. Cogo is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing, Queen's University, working on the intersection between Foundation Models and Software Engineering. His research has been published in prominent venues in the field, including TSE, EMSE, TOSEM, ICSE, and FSE. He also serves as an associate editor for the Springer Automated Software Engineering journal. Prior to his current position, he was a Software Engineering Researcher at the Centre for Software Excellence, Huawei Canada (2020-2026) and an assistant professor at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (2014-2020). Filipe has more than ten years of teaching experience in Computer Science and received his Ph.D. from the School of Computing at Queen’s University, Canada, in 2020.
