Description
Examine the engineering lifecycle of large software systems with Artificial Intelligence components, including both traditional and foundation models. Address key challenges associated with the full lifecycle of these software systems: specifying, building, validating, maintaining, and evolving. Non-deterministic nature of Artificial Intelligence components and their heavy dependence on data over code. Unique trustworthiness, legal, and operational considerations for such software.
