Computing Specializations

What are Specializations?

Computing Specializations are a type of degree program offered by the School of Computing.

  • The name of the specialization appears on the diploma.
  • They can not be combined with a Minor in another subject.
  • They are all Bachelor of Computing programs, with the exception of Computing and the Creative Arts, which is a Bachelor of Arts program.

What is a Bachelor of Computing?

The School of Computing is named as such to emphasize that its courses and degrees, while focused on computer science, also include aspects of engineering, mathematics, psychology, and other sciences. But a Bachelor of Computing degree is equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
